you need to talk to a counselor or another person that you trust. sometimes the easiest way to heal wounds or lighten burdens is to talk to someone. or write in a journal if you cant talk to anyone in person.

Okay Step 1: Write down everything you're feeling. EVERYTHING! Ask yourself these questions: Why do I feel sad? Why do I cut myself? What time of day does it usually happen? What causes this pain? What events brought me here? What can I do to control it?
These questions may seem lame, but it really puts into perspective what is going in your head.
Second: Fold that paper. On another sheet of paper, write down what makes you happy. Whether its walking, piano, riding bikes, painting, drawing, whatever it is write it down.
Now from the first step you are supposed to write down when you feel the saddest, when you feel this time is coming, find things that occupy you. Find things that make you happy, and that there is beauty in the world and happiness.
Now, If you can't find anything that makes you happy. Write down a list of things you want to accomplish in the next year. And start checking it off.
Keep yourself occupied so you don't let the saddness get to you. and use it as an outlet.
I promise you, it may not seem like it now but you will get through this. And it is just a phase.
YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CONTROL YOUR FEELINGS!
things bad may happen to you, family, girlfriends/boyfriends, love, friends, LIFE, but you are the only one can take it in a negative or positive way.
Learn to control your emotions, and focus on doing that. If anything sit in meditation or do yoga at those times to bring calmness to your mind and your heart.

i know *exactly* how you feel. i've been there. but hurting yourself won't do you any good in the long run. if you continue this bad habit, eventually, you're gonna want to hurt yourself more and more. because after some time, the small cuts won't be enough to numb or ease your emotional pain.
so just a piece of advice: STOP HURTING YOURSELF while you still can.
talk to a guidance counselor or a psychologist. busy yourself with friends and/or family. talk it out. cry it out. write, if you wish.. on a journal or blog. the emotional pain will eventually ease up. just hang in there :)

Sounds like you have borderline personality disorder along with severe depression. I recommend seeing a psychiatrist and try getting on some medications and going through some intensive therapy. Your psychiatrist will also recommend that you go to DBT classes (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)--they will help.

I feel so bad for you ...Im the mother of a child who used to cut himself..to release agression and pain...I HIGHLY suggest seeing your regular doctor...and as embarased as you might be tell him you want help and he will either prescribe you some medication like zoloft or zyprexa and refer you to another doc that specializes in these types of disorders. Dont let it go thinking it will go away...It wont.

if you have siblings or understanding friends, talk to them about it. My sister goes to a therapist, and when I started cutting, I talked to my friend about it. It helped for a while, but soon it just wasn't enough. I talked to my sister about it, and she set me up with her therapist. He really helped, and soon I felt much better, and it showed.

its all in the head and you should remember that...get your self involved only in what you like and start moving that way....the only way someone is hurt is by saying no to your self or get rejected by others....in both cases is good to get involved in stuff...own staff..love things...humans pets material things...just do that and you will be fine!
