Hello Jam,
I'm not good at all, even when its constructive, and usually take ages to think about it, and come to terms with it. I also know why I'm like that.

no one takes such action lightly. however, some of us are not so vain as to think we know everything, and will happily accept teh advice and critique of those whom we regard as having an opinion worth listeniing to, and acting upon.
some folks miss the point of criticism, some regards it as a personal dig, i'm sure it wasnt intentional, but if it were, i would suggest the aggrieved party has issues per se', and not personally.
i suppose its to do with self esteem, and knowing your not spouting rot... and if teh criticism is well deserved, then one has the opportunity to not make the same mistake again...and avoid such criticism.

I take it really badly, but then that's just low self esteem. What I try to do now is not personalise it (any kind good bad or indifferent) and see what if any point, or points are relevant and factual, when I come to that decision, be it that it is a valid criticism or not, I then take on board what they have said, make the necessary adjustments, and move on.

I take constructive criticism very well. I even appreciate it when people give me constructive criticism, it helps make me a better person.

Yes,any person can take criticism but i say it is in the way you do it -there must always be two positives then negative that is the most save way to hand out criticism.:-)

If as you say it is well intentioned and constructive I can cope with it(just ,but not always very graciously).If its just some smarty pants trying to get one over on me ----no I can't and don't they blinking well know about it

On a good day i'll take the constructve criticism. On a bad i'll think about it.
