I also like the three anchors you have chosen. Norm MacDonald for saying now for the fake news and the Snickers he gives. Kevin Nealon for signing off with the phrase "That's news to me, and Colin Quin for his sign off "That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Kevin Nealon, followed by Norm McDonald, and ya can't go wrong when Tina Fey/Jimmy Fallon did it. But Kevin Nealson did it with that dry sense of humor like he was actually a newscaster reporting the jokes on these stories. That's what made it. Then Norm had almost that same thing going on, but you can tell when the punchline was gonna start, but with Kevin, ya never knew until the end of the story, THAT'S why I like Kevin Nealson. The Tina Fey/Jimmy Fallon combo went old school in terms of pairing two people up and letting them go. Colin Quinn was funny because he made it seem like he was the man next door who ended up sneaking onto a news set while the cameras were on and started just speaking his mind on issues. I liked that, plus his speech that introduced himself to the update desk was excellent. Oh, and I do agree with Norm, GERMANS LOVE DAVID HASSELHOFF!!!!!

Weekend replace became created via unique anchor Chevy Chase and SNL author Herb Sargent, and appeared on the 1st SNL broadcast on October 11, 1975. Chase popularized countless capture words in the process the phase, such as his "i'm Chevy Chase and you're actually not" greeting.

You're right on the money with those. I'd probably add Dennis Miller to that list, though.

Chevy Chase. Because he said, "I'm Chevy Chase, and you're not!". How can you not like a guy named Chevy?
