Simply cold weather will not cause a pipe to leak. Did it freeze? That is not the same as just cold weather.
Is the pipe split or broken or is it at a joint or is it a faucet? What is the pipe made of? Is the bad spot easily accessible? Where is the pipe? What does the pipe do?We need to know what caused the problem so we can advise you on what to do to keep it from happening again.
In almost all cases, there is no sealant that will work. If it does work, it will be very temporary and is a problem waiting to happen.

There is no way any type of sealant will fix this. Your service line is under pressure and will blow any type of sealant off. You will need to cut a new piece of pipe in. What type of material is your pipe made of ? If it's copper then you would want to use another copper piece to put in. DO NOT use dis-similar metals such as galvanized pipe and copper as this will cause electrolysis. You could use plastic ( not Schedule 40 white thin pipe) and compression fittings if you don't know how to sweat on copper fitting. Very easy repair to do.

You could repair this yourself by cutting out the section, and replacing it with crimp-on plastic hose, called PEX. Check it out at Home Depot. No soldering.
Otherwise, spray on sealants will leak again, they are a temp. fix. Call someone that can fix the pipe by re-soldering it.

a quick fix is an epoxy which will work. but its best to cut out the leak. there are fittings out there that are (quick connect) and they are easy to put on. If you go to your local hardware store and let them know what kind of pipe you have they should be able to help u.

If it's leaking because it froze, no sealant is going to fix it. Spray on repair? You got to be kidding.
The pipe will need to be replaced or professionally repaired.

Are you saying it froze and broke? what are you saying? I would take the pipe apart and reseal it or replace the pipe, put in a sweat joint at each end of the break with couplings and a piece of new pipe.

They need to re-section that part of the pipe. No spray on or paint on or putty will work because of the TREMENDOUS water pressure within a pipe.

Unfortunately the spray on sealers will hold only temp, at best and probably not at all. You will need to have the leaking section replaced or you will have more problems
