I wouldn't say so, dancing may burn a few calories but isn't the same sensation as after a visit to the gym unless you ain't doing it right in the gym (or become complacent).
If I miss the gym for a couple of days and then have sex however I get the same soreness around the upper body but think thats normal as I spend too much time at the gym and missing a day here and there can react strangely when you keep it tense, relax and then tense again.

depends on how active you were, and how much you drank. If you got drunk and were dehydrated you are gonna be hurting, and alcohol inhibits muscle growth too.
