I loved the movie. Some people gave it awesome reviews but others gave it bad reviews. The book was reall really good and well written I must admit the movie could have been better but it was still good.

The movie WAS good I WILL admit that, but it was NOT NOT NOT Eragon. As a movie on itself it was ok but putting the label Eragon on it killed that movie. The book had such a large and loyal fanbase that it was bound to sell at the boxoffice. But I have many problems with it.
1.) How will there be a sequal without changing the entire storyline?
Eragon is supposed to travel with Orik and Arya and Tarnag's warrior guards to Ellismira. How will they do that when Orik was cut from the first movie? Half of Eldest was told from Roran's point of veiw while he was being tormented by the Raz'zac. The Raz'zac were killed off already in the movie.

THIS IS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE IT WAS THE BIGGEST **** UP OF ALL.

THE MOVIE MADE IT BE THAT WHEN A DRAGON DIES ITS RIDER CAN LIVE ON, BUT IF THE RIDER DIE BOTH DIE. GALBATORIX'S DRAGON IS DEAD. HE KILLED, NOTICE THIS SAYS KILLED, ANOTHER RIDER AND STOLE HIS DRAGON HATCHLING TO RAISE AS HIS OWN AS A REPLACEMENT. IF GALLBY KILLED THE OTHER RIDER, ACCORDING TO THE MOVIE PLOT LINE, THE DRGON HATCHLING WOULD HAVE TOO. SO WHERE EXACTLY THE **** DID GALLBY'S DRAGON COME FROM SUPPOSEDLY??? HMM.........STILL WAITING FOR THAT ANSWER FOX...OH....WHATS THAT?.....OH FOX DOESN'T KNOW **** ABOUT ERAGON STORYLINE?....OH WAIT THERES MORE?....MY EXTREMELY SEXY SELF COULD HAVE WRITTEN A BETTER SCRIPT AND DONE A BETTER MOVIE WITH CLAY FIGURES.

SORRY I KINDA ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION WHY PEOPLE LIKE ME GAVE IT A BAD REVIEW AND VENTED MY ANGER AT FOX.

I think because it was so unlike the book, which was awsome. I have seen the movie and read the book and I think the movie had great graphics and was well done but drifted away from the content of the book.

It probably got bad reviews because the acting in it was subpar. In addition, some of the scenes were WAY too overdone. Plus, the whole concept is really not that original. I got kinda bored watching it.

it probably got bad reviews because the plot wasnt' exaclty clear....if u hadn't read the book the plot was a little shakey to me... and also it really went out on a limb compared to the book. it didn't much stick w/ the book

in case you have study the e book then you definately probable;y no longer get exhilaration from the action picture to plenty. i like the books however the action picture leaves plenty to be needed. in case you had no longer study the books you have got be able to a minimum of get exhilaration from the action picture. I went to be sure the action picture and on an identical time as i did no longer love the action picture it became ok. i might propose waiting for it back out on DVD.

I think a lot of the readers went and saw the movie and didn't like it because it didn't follow the book.

I've read the book and seen the movie. In my opinion, it skipped around a lot and if you never read the book, I doubt you would've even known the character's names!!!
