A few months ago, I was running for the bus, and yes, I fell. it hurt really bad, and it still hurts a bit. Last night, I was rubbing my knee, and I felt this bubble. It moves around when I rub it. It's pretty freaky. Now I know I need to ask a Dr, which I am going to do, but does anyone have an idea what it could be? It doesn't hurt that bad, but it doesn't seem normal either.

Sounds like Bursitis. Sometimes they go away on their own, but usually come back. A doc will prescribe meds for it and may want to drain it. If it's bad enough, it will need to be surgically removed. Just look up "bursitis" on the web to fully explain.

Well if it is a hard knot but moves around...like a marble under your skin...it is probably a gangion cyst and is harmless. These appear and can stay for a long time or they can burst and go away on their own.

However because you injured your knee and have pain associated with this lump also I recommend seeing your doc which you indicated you are going to do.

Go to these two sites and they will give you an idea. Best of luck to you.

Get it checked out, but don't freak out and don't let the dr freak you out either.

I had a similar sounding thing with my knee 30 years ago. The dr scared me to death, but it turned out it was nothing and went away on its own.

On the other hand, it could be something (most things aren't that serious, really) that needs to be tended to. So get it checked out and take care of it (and you).

Seems to be some sort of bubble, or something. I'm no knee doctor or anything but i would say that there is something to this.

They're called ganglias. You can get them on your ankles as well.
