My thoughts are that the terrorists are laughing at us turning a terrible tragedy into a Hollywood blockbuster. It makes us look very insensitive and foolish.
I boycotted those movies because I can't stand the thought of Hollywood actors and directors making money off of terrorists, and that is what they are doing if you think about it.
If they had donated ALL profit from those movies to the victims of 9/11 I would have ZERO problem with the movies.

united 93 was excellent.. It showed the bravery of the crew and passengers and the families.. If it were not for them, think of how many more innocent lives would have been lost..How many people would have done what they did? I watch it everytime it's on and cry everytime.. I know some people think that it's just bringing back up heartache for the families but I think it honors those men and women and the family...They died heroes..

The minute I happen to come across a listing for the viewing of such movies--I get a sick feeling in my stomach and wonder how such horrific events are made into entertainment for the masses. Until there is an independant investigation that brings out the real facts behind the unanswered questions of the events--I will remain skeptical of the present explanations.

I thought United 93 was excellent. I was moved to tears actually and I very rarely feel that way about a movie.
I haven't seen World Trade Center yet.

not much into movies. i'm sure some people liked them. personally i feel movies of this nature could be biased and try to paint the movie makers conspiracy theories. i did watch a movie i think it was called farenheit 911 or something like that. its a perfect example of how hollywood can corrupt the way a person thinks. i'm not saying these 2 movies you mentioned are like that, i just try to steer clear of movies of that nature.

I haven't seen them and I won't. I don't need a reminder of what happened on that horrible day. I won't forget and never will. Watching it live on the television for hours on end will always be in my mind. I do not need actors and actresses pretending to be those that suffered through that terrible ordeal. We all suffered.

I just don't trust Hollywood liberals to make movies about American tragedies, I mean look what happened to "Pearl Harbor"
"WTC" wasn't bad, but it was too specific on one small part of 9-11. "United 93" was not that good. They showed the Muslim's prayers but not Todd Beamer's prayers. They pretty much blamed the government for not stopping the terrorists as well. I don't know, I think Hollywood should just stick to movies like "Dude where's my car"

The people who fought against terrorism on Flight 93 and to rescue people at the WTC are, and should always be considered heroes. I've seen "United 93" and I was moved to tears. I also saw "WTC" and I was not quite as moved, but it was still worth seeing.
