Um Wow I must be living under a Rock thats for sure. I was not aware of any federal holiday honoring Pres. Ford (Yes I know he died). In fact , I work at Compass Bank in Arizona and I know we are open tomorrow!

All I know is that banks can only be closed for 2 days at a time, so I imagine they will be open tomorrow even though Ford passed away...

It's not a holiday, but all federal offices will be closed, so I think that includes banks. Check with your branch.

No banks will not be closed but the postal service will not run regular service. School will be closed but other offices and places of business will be open if they chose to.

It depends on the bank, not all businesses will close. The stock market will be closed, but trash will be picked up.
