Then someone off campus turned him in for being a racist. Being tenured, he had but one problem reputation and us, but when he apologized and quit. We and I mean everyone has kept in going. Outsiders like the ACLU are complaining we are brainwashed, we think it funny are trying to prove a point besides it being hilarious. What do you think?

Mr. Travis? While I appreciate the support I am more worried about what message this is sending everyone. First why the name Confederate would make anyone upset and to think them a racist is beyond me. I know the Confederate Air Force has proven me wrong as they had to changed their names. I just used the first thing that came to mind and was trying to show how foolish people can be, I thought the support by everyone, group and interest proved me right. What I was not prepared to do was risk injury to you (the students).
However you all have reminded me of what and why I teach.
