Yes he is still alive. And I think he still performs or makes some sort of appearances . By the way, he is an awesome dancer.

Yes, "Mischa" is alive. Still dancing. About 58 or so, i believer. He has done some acting on TV. Also still choreographs.
If you get a chance to see him dance, do it! He is marvelous. You can rent the movie he was in years ago: "white nights"
He does 11 pirouettes at one time, no break in camera shot.
He's amazing!

Unfortunately, the answer is no, he is deceased. Died many years ago from a disease in Russia after he went back home to retire.
