Am i too old and tall for gymnastics??

ok im 12 and i can do a perfect backwalkover,front walkover, one handed cartwheel and roundoff, the splits on both legs and a bridge. am i too old to start?? also im 5 1 but idk if im ganna grow taller. i really want to do this sport.

Um, you're not too tall. Svetlana Khorkina - the reigning world champion and Olympic gymnast is tall - she's 5'5.

You're not too old to start, but it will be a bit more difficult for you being that the younger girls body have grown into that shape from the training. A lot of good gymnasts start gymnastics late, though, and with your determination and your skills (all those skills are the building blocks to more advanced moves) I'm sure you can do well.

Also, I went to a height predictor to see how tall you may be when you grow up. It said 5'7, but I didn't know your weight so I just put in 100. You can try it yourself, though:

you can start it ur not 2 old or short.leave the worrying till later on in life.so do the sport anyway

No one ever knows if they are going to grow taller . . .
If you really want it , go for it and don't waste time looking for yes's else where .

yes main thing is to like what you are doing,immagine how those beauty queens are affected if they get a blemish (pimple).Be who you are and give it your best thats all.You cant fake being good,just pretty.
