when they only won "1" straight national title? Must be the west coast bias I guess.

I entered this blog thinking you were joking; with the punch line underneath the header.

Every sentence is a fallacy:

1. USC IS a dynasty; not "was."

2. We won two national titles, and threatened to win a third; the coaches opinion poll is bound with the BCS outcome (although several coaches objected to it); the AP Poll also determines the national title (Please see 1979, when USC beat Alabama preseason, but only won the AP Poll that year, with Alabama winning the coach's poll).

3. The majority of the sports writers are from the East Coast and South. You must be joking about the "west coast bias..."

In short, Pete Carroll's program has an incredible success rate, in wins and recruiting.

Psst: Next year we shall be the #1 Preseason Pick!

The dynasty continues...FIGHT ON!

yes, because there is such a thing as a west coast bias. ha that's stupid, they won the ap national title twice, a bcs title, lost in the title game by 3 once, and have now won three bcs bowls in the last four years. sounds like a dynasty to me .... so much for your stupid question

These numbers are why they are a dynasty. 5 straight Pac-10 titles, 5 straight BCS berths, 2 straight AP Nat'l Titles, 2 straight nat'l title apperances and 1 "BCS" Nat'l title. 4-1 record in BCS games. How many teams have done all that in a 5 or even 10 year period? Enough said. FIGHT ON SC!!!!!!!

Actually they got 2.

Go to bed, little boy. You've got the rest of 2007 to whine about Michigan getting their asses kicked.
