You'll hear this a lot, but here it goes: Use condoms. Get on the pill. Go to your local planned parenthood office and grab up all the pamphletes they offer; ask questions while you're there; go to the websites of places like Web M.D. or the Mayo Clinic and do some reading on such things as STDs and pregnancy. The reason you're freaking out is because there's a very loud voice in your head that's screaming for you to learn about something that hormones are telling you to do. Unless you plan on being a very young (probably single) parent, or go down for the count because of an STD, I'd suggest you listen to it.

Your periods will be irregular when you first start but if you are not using any birth control or even if you are there is always a chance you could get pregnant. Have you got a plan in place as to what you will do if you accidently become pregnant? If you don't have a plan in place then don't have sex until you know what you will do if you do accidently get pregnant. Also since youare now sexaully active you will need to have a pap and pelvic exam done yearly. If you have't had yours done yet this year then consider getting it scheduled so you can discuss all your concerns and fears with your doctor when you are there.

Ur period can be affected by stress, and if ur freaking out about it can affect the regularity. I kno this because it happens to my friend all the time, she freaks out and it causes her period to be late, but she hasn't been pregnant yet. Just calm urself down, and if u need to just get a preg test, and usually itll come after ur calmer. but that doesn't mean u should ever relax about making sure ur protected.

Stress is a big trigger in whether or not you will have your period on time. And not every woman will be on time every month for a variety of different reasons. The more you stress about it the more likely you will be late.

As long as you are using protection, you shouldn't worry. But, if you are too young for the responsibility of sex, you shouldn't be doing it. If you are stressing about being pregnant (or anything) that will cause you to be late.

if you just started having your period and you are worried about getting pregnant then you are way to young to be having sex....sex comes with consequences and you should be prepared for them....but if you are having sex use protection and dont stress about being pregnant because that keeps you from starting too. you dont need your parents consent to go to planned parenthood.

you shouldn't be pregnant, but of course you need to take better precautions to ease your mind, such as he should always pull out before he cums, and you should be on birth control... go to planned parenthood if your parents aren't able to communicate about your sexual behavior. periods are ussually irregular when you are young...quit stressing..that actually can make your period even later!

no thats a common fear among girls when they first start having sex and women who have been doing it for years. wear rubbers or get on the pill that should take some of the guilt/anxiety away

you say you are young and only just started having periods!!!
then you are way too young to be having sex so stop!
you are obviously not mentally ready for it

it sounds like maybe you are having sex against your will, mentally, you should not do something just because someone else is. you know what it is like now. so just lay back and wait till you feel comfortable with just the thought of having sex.
