Without "The Message", every rap act you've ever heard of would be taking the back stairs. The only other contender might be Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight".

"Fight the Power" was, er, powerful, but it was essentially a cover of the Isley Brothers.

Definitely Rappers Delight in 1986 by GF as this was the first released rap song that used sampling. They sampled the instrumental track from Chic's "Good Times".
