The University of Connecticut has had many mathematics majors graduate to become actuaries. Actuaries make great money. I know several. Be prepared to work hard, but it will be worth it in the end.

Princeton offers the best undergrad math program hands down -- your classes will be taught by professors such as John Conway, Charles Fefferman, and Andrew Wiles. Where else does arguably the world's greatest living mathematician teach freshman analysis and linear algebra?
However, Princeton doesn't take transfers, so if you're looking to transfer, MIT's your best bet.
