II was also wondering can asian people be emo and will they look okay?

Style your hair so it falls into your eyes. Invest in some horn-rimmed glasses (you can get lenses that are simply clear glass). Wear dark, tight clothing. Buy a black messenger bag and white-out weird slogans onto it. Carry all your crap in there. Write poetry in public places. But, for the love of God, do NOT call yourself emo in front of true emos. They will think you are a poseur.
Listen to mopey rock groups, or indie/underground music. This would be From First to Last, Taking Back Sunday, The Distillers, Gym Class Heroes, Hawthorne Heights, Paramore, The Rantings of EVA, etc.
BTW, Anyone can look emo, regardless of race. Emo is simply an attitude (depressed).
