I am trying to find me some new indie bands that are good. I like alternative, pop, electric and rock. A couple good ones: Citizen Cope, Sleater-Kinney.

I've been surfing around CNET's music pages lateley... they've got some pretty good Indie bands buried in there if you look around... and the best part is lots of free, LEGAL downloads for your MP3 player. The site is htttp://music.download.com I think.

Prizzy Prizzy Please -- a band from Indiana. They're a rock band that doesn't use guitar -- very cool with unique and interesting sound.
