I'm keeping alot of secrets from my family. One of which is serious, but i don't know how to tell them. I have asthma, my inhaler stopped working and sometimes i just feel like i'm gonna faint. I get lightheaded, my chest hurts and everything. I never told my family about this, i'm too scared to. And if I did they wouldn't be able to do anything cause i have no parents to care for me, no s to care. I might as well just die. I don't even know how i can tell anyone, i don't want to worry them and i can't walk the whole way to the hospital. What do I do? How can I tell my siblings about this? I'm scared. well i have to go now, it's 2:30 am, and i'm not supposed to be on teh computer, thanks to all those nice people who answer this question.

just tell them. the more you withold telling them, the more hurt you're going to get and the worse it's going to get. your siblings will be relieved you told them. they care for you a lot and probably worry about you. don't die, please. you can't leave them like that. i have asthma too and it sucks. i understand the pain. it does hurt. if your young and you keep taking your medicence it goes away. you still will have asthma but not as bad. my asthma barely goes off now except once or twice a year. until you get the chance to tell them, do breathing excercises and don't overexert yourself, but

TELL THEM PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're even worrying me, simon. please tell them.

Asthma isn't a "secret" you should keep from your family. You must have a family physician or at least a local hospital you can contact. I'm assuming you have internet access (...) so just find their number and call them if you really don't want to tell your family for whatever reason.

always have two inhalers with you, one for daily usages and the second for when that runs out and you cant get anywhere. always keep them with you in your pockets.
i dont really know how you can tell your family though, thats kinda hard. but it would be best to tell them you have really bad asthma, before they get freaked when your having an asthma attack.

It will not cost anything but gas for them to take you to the health dept. in the morning. They do not even have to stay with you. Take care of yourself. You do not say who your family is? But drop you off in the am and you can or they may can arrange a ride home.

Call emergency services or the hospital and tell them what is going on. If you are a minor, someone has to be caring for you.

you have asthma, not aids. why is this shameful. you don't need to die either, you did nothing wrong. it's quite common.

if need be, have a friend go with you to tell them.

You need to have a family meeting, and please tell them. If you have an attack , no one can help you if they do not know.

This is your family, they love you for who you are please let them know.
