ive seen it like three or four times but cant figure out the recurrant themes and what is the meaning of Cherita, the fat guy in the red suit, and if donnie dies on OCT 2nd from the jet engine, does it undue everything that consequently happened? (jim and the kiddie porn ring for one example)

i believe the movie is about possibilities. in the end not everything was undone even though he went back in time there were still faint memories in the minds of people that this phenomenon had effected. that is why you see gidget(sp?) at the end of the movie with a weird look on her face.
if jim really was the behind the kiddie porn ring thing then he was still doing that no matter what had happened to donnie.
