You could apologize for the hurt they caused someone, but you can't apologize for having those feelings. They are your feelings and that is that. But of course you don't want to hurt anyone while making your feelings known.

I normally apologize after having my Monthly Mom-Needs-Some-DAMN-Help-
Around-Here wig out. I do feel used sometimes, I do feel that the kids are lazy, and sometimes, Mom's just tired and wants to sit down and watch The Gilmore Girls and not have to mess with where are my socks? Could you? Would you? Where's Dad? yada yada yada.....
I do apologize because my kids are great, they are just kids.

Yes, if they caused harm I would feel compelled to apologize since its really not all about me and my feelings!

i usually say that im sorry for not feeling how they want me to. but if its how i feel, theres not much i can do or say to change that. sometimes i wish i could feel different to make the other person and myself happy...but i dont think ive ever apologized for my true feelings.
