I heard if a man produces clear seimen that it means he is unfertile...is this true or how can you tell

You have to ask him. It's not just the colour but also the activity of the sperm.

The only way to know if he is sterile is to have a lab perform at least 2 sperm counts. You can't take his word for it. And semen quality is not a way to tell.

The myth about men with 'clear' semen being infertile is absolutely false. Every man has a different colour/consistency to his ejaculate....clear being among them. The only way to investigate the fertility status of a man is to subject some of his semen to a sperm count.

Only way that it can be determined if a man is sterile is if he has a lab test to analyze his semen. Can only be done at a lab, by someone trained to determine viability.

You need to have the semen tested for sperm count. Complete sterility is a zero count.

You cannot tell by a visual method alone. Have him see a doctor and check his fertility sperm count, have him give you a copy from the doctor to read for yourself.

If he is your husband and you know he's "safe" you can take about a 1/2 teaspoon full of his semen and taste it. If it is acidic he is sterile. If it is bland with lil to no acidic properties he can have children. Hope this works.
No Please Don't Swallow It, but he has to go to the doctor to get tested. Don't think that we can answer this question for you.

The only way to tell is to have his semen tested by a qualified fertility doctor. You can't tell by looking at it.

no way to tell...have him contact a urologist or fertility specialist, so he can masturbate for a specimen and they can examine the specimen under a microscope to see if he has motile sperm
