My son got said creepy crawlers for Christmas. I was busy with something and told him to read the directions and try to figure it out for himself - he is almost 10. Well, he neglected to read the part about after it is finished heating you should leave the door closed because the unit needs to cool. Well, he forced it open, broke a piece and now the thing cannot be used. Of course, we do not have a receipt to return it. So my question is, does anybody know if these bugs will bake in either a regular oven or a toaster oven, if so, what temp and how long? Or, will it bake in an easy bake oven? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

easy bake ovens will work. when my creepy crawler machine died as a kid, i used my sisters oven. they're the same thing. pretty much anything that you can keep heat in around a 40 watt lightbulb will work.

Hands dowwn for me is the cockroach! The slimy, worthless creature serves no purpose other than to annoy. And when that certain breed flies at me, It's best that I am not armed because I'll commence firing! lol
