depends on what ya like, im not a picky person myself and will date almost any guys aged 21 - 40, just as long as there not fat slobs who want sex daily. but besides that your asking the public and id guess 2 up and 2 down in as 2 years older than you and 2 years younger for dating, its your choice but thats my advice, good luck

Once you are 21 dating anyone under 18 is not legally acceptable, and those under 18 would most likely be too immature for you anyway.
Those up to 26 or 28 will still be in an age range where you would still have many things in common with, although you could meet someone older that you share many interests with.
That being said, I would say the age range you should concentrate on would be 18 to 28.

A gay 21-year-old should not go out with anyone under 18. As for the oldest, I would say that depends on whether or not he/she can find themselves attracted to someone more than 15 years older than themselves. And that has to do with whether or not you have anything in common with them other than sex.

In general +- 3 years should work.
Just NEVER, ever, date under 18 years old. Otherwise you'll have all kinds of trouble you'd rather never see. I say this having been that trouble more than once.
The biggest problem tends to crop up if you're in college and different programs/years. What exactly are you going to do when the other graduates?
Of course I'm oddly becoming fond of this idea of a 'committed relationship' novel concept I know, but it seems to work nicely.

There's no 'should' or 'shouldn't'. Why limit yourself? If you set an arbitrary age limit of say 25, and then meet a hot 26-year-old, are you going to turn them down?
You can be attracted to people of all ages, and find that relationships will vary from one person to another, so you can't predict how it will turn out just by knowing the age of the other person.
Keep an open mind, and enjoy whatever and whoever comes your way!

Youngest - 18, mainly for legal/ethical reasons.
Oldest - Your choice. Once you're dealing with adults, maturity is not related to age necessarily. So decide on the basis important to you, whether that be shared interests, character, trust, whatever.

As young as is legal and as old as he wants.
My best advice to you must be, get over the need to seek constant group approval. Only YOU know what age YOU are interested in. What anyone else thinks, doesn't matter.
Kind thoughts,
