Led Zeppelin were a much better band in the studio than in live performances, but much of that was due to the bands decision to improvise and stretch some songs out. Plant's vocals turned into shrieks, moans, wails, and it became a distraction. That's one reason there aren't many legal live recordings of the group, which is a damn shame. I saw them play 7 or 8 times, on different tours, and only enjoyed their 1975 USA Tour Of The Americas.
But, in the studio, they kicked major ***!!
Get the book "Hammer Of The Gods"....it'll tell you everything you want to know.

There are several books and a couple of movies. There is even a great website called www.ledzeppelin.com
Some of the stuff in the books was dismissed by the band members but everyone loves a good fish story! Especially if it involves a red snapper!

what does led zeppelin have to do with bush? at least bush isnt a communist like che, screw that. as for zeppelin, a few members made a band called the honey drippers, they had a hit with sea of love.

one of the first and most oblivious thing you should understand is that they suck. this is the definition of bad music, actually it doesn't fall under the category of music. you and the mob mentality cant change that. it the same type of thinking that got bush elected twice.
