Example of those topics:

- Racism. You experience racism first hand in an extreme way. Those who saw it happen will acknowledge what happened & try to comfort you. You then ask people on yahoo answers why some people are racist. Those people then bash you or call YOU racist or ignorant, just for asking, then deny that it happens. Even after other people respond to the question & reveal their experiences with racism as well.

- Women against Marriage. Many women will tell you that their against marriage & romance, & why, & say they only care about their careers. So you hear them say this, and then you decinde to be understanding to their reasons. BUT, when you ask other people why many women in society are becoming like this, some women will bash you & say this doesn't happen. Then say you must have problems against women for asking such a question?

Why do people bash you when you ask honest questions about things you want to learn from?

Akshun - But no matter how you word a question, there's always someone out their who will see it as offensive or see as "conversational Terrorism" or dishonest in some way. So I don't think there's any real escape from that.

Secondly, No one, no question, no matter how it's worded can force you have to agree with it. I think this is why people have their own minds, so that they can always question the question being asked, and question themselves and their own beliefs, in order to deliver a logical response. Not just agree with it because it sounds appealing. Or hate/disagree with it because it seems terrible on the surface. But answer questions in a mature manner, not childishly by bashing it like apes.

Many times, the people don't put in enough detail to make the incident "come alive" to others...they just ask a question and maybe throw in one or two sentences...or if they do explain the situation, they don't write the explanation in an objective manner. They often come across as outraged and self pitying...and this brings out the wolves out there that are angry at their own lives or are remembering a wrong done to them by the group in question.

So, in theory it might go...a black lady got really dissed bad at a restaurant for no good reason at all...she posts the situation on yahoo (and even posts it well...clear and everything)....Joe Blow sees the question and as soon as he sees the 'black' part, he remembers how he got mugged and beaten by blacks down in Watts or someplace...so he attacks with words...no matter how unreasonable it is, he's filled with anger, hatred, resentment, and often has a few after work beers in him to make it worse.

You just have to be like a duck in this old world and let a lot of it roll off your back.

Some people are racists...I really don't understand it, but they are. I wish it were not so.
If you ask them why, and they gave you an honest answer in this forum, their answers would likely be in violation of guidelines. That may be why racists don't like to talk about their racism in
Y!A.
I really don't understand why some women are so against traditional romance and marriage, but I can see how balancing a husband, home, and family with an active career could be damn near impossible (please excuse the language). I suppose the ladies you have heard say that they are against marriage have chosen to be career women instead. May they find joy in their choice.

Some people bash because they have low self-esteem, and belittling others makes them feel better about themselves. Then again, some folks just get angry and lash out...we need to be more forgiving in this forum.

May God bless you and yours this coming year!

Alot of the questions like those are asked in an underhanded or leading way. Look up "conversational terrorism" by Dean and Marshall VanDruff

Some one will ask the question in such a way that makes it so you have to agree with their position, before even presenting an answer.

Many people recognize these tactics even if subconsciously and get offended that someone is trying to manipulate them, in turn they dont get the kind of rational thought out answers instead heated rebuttals....because they weren't actually asking a "question" they were making an "underhanded statment".

Goodluck.

Your FQs can and could be argued till the cows come homestead and somebody will continuously think of that their solutions are ideal inspite of whether its for or against. i actually am a Christian and that i completely have faith what i've got discovered for myself approximately such questions. i stumble on as lots information on the undertaking and whichever is ultimate supported is the respond i bypass with. on the grounds which you probably did not specifically state what your questions are, i will coach you what I mean via addressing Jesus' historicity. The Bible isn't imprecise relating to activities, cases or places, yet extremely is going into large ingredient approximately such issues. The historian Josephus (first century Jewish historian) made connection with the stoning of "James, the brother of Jesus who's mentioned as the Christ." Tacitus (first century Roman historian) wrote "Christus [Latin for "Christ"], from whom the call [Christian] had its foundation, suffered the severe penalty in the process the reign of Tiberius on the palms of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilate." the hot Encyclopedia Britannica factors out that combatants of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, and that Jesus' historicity became basically disputed for the 1st time "on inadequate grounds via countless authors on the top of the 18th, in the process the nineteenth, and on the initiating of the 20 th centuries." is this the kind of reasoning you're searching for?

Some of us have pre conceived notions about people and things. These notions go so far as to what and who and how much and where a person should be at a given age and what kinds of questions should be asked at a given weight. If my answers bother you then you should cease asking me questions. Everyone is not like minded. Not everyone will be sensitive to your needs. It sure would be a better world if they were.

Some people take such questions as personal assault and take a defensive position. We need to understand that for the most part, it is nothing personal.

Some people think this is a forum for argument instead of peaceful questions and answers. Perhaps they don't have enough to get upset about in real life so they think they should do it here...
