Ford. They're trucks last, even when you pound the **** out of them. I work in a garage, and I very rarly see a Ford Truck in the shop with under 300 000km on it. The only reason why they're in the shop is because of maintance. Chevy and Dodge trucks don't last as long, but they are a little stronger on average. Import trucks are junk...Foreign Trucks are a joke.

Ever look up when you go inside a parking garage? All those big dummies scraping their roofs and roof racks on those I-beams in their big trucks and SUV's. Lots of work for the body shops. The main reason in this day and age is psychological. In the good old days, the only guys who owned pick-ups were carpenters and laborers who needed it to move constuctions supplies. Now, the typical "big vehicle" person is quite often about five inches shorter than the height of the hood on their vehicle and have an inferiority complex. I have always told people, "If I was bald, fat, short, and ugly I'd have to wrap one of those around me." Referring to some of those pretty trucks and other things people drive. Trucks have one purpose, moving dead weight around and are relatively cheap reliable transportation. In case you have not noticed, the modern day SUV looks more and more like the "Family Truckster" or station wagon we all grew up with. Hmm, " Let's lower the center of gravity and widen the wheel base to make it safer and less prone to flipping over. Yes, that's it! Watch Chevy Chase in the movie "Family Vacation" and you'll see one of these new model SUV's. LOL!!! Good Luck!

The best one for pulling and hauling is the tugger that they use to pull 747s away from the gate at the airport. Its fenders are made from one-inch thick plate steel and the tow ring is on a four-inch thick back panel. On the road it can pull a 65 ton tractor-trailer rig. Unfortunately its gas mileage is kind of poor.

I hate this question! It's asked constantly & is always an "OPINION WAR"!
In my much researched (& experienced ) opinion, Ford.
When it comes to trucks:
absolutely Ford Here's the (truth) facts to back me up:

http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f150/...

Ford is also the undisputed sales leader for the last 30 years consecutively. Here's proof of that:

Now you'll probably have a dozen other opinions & I will undoubtadly receive just as many "thumbs down" but I produce documented proof!

You will also see(this spring) that FORD has raised the bar, for SuperDuty, when they debut their 2008 !
Care for a preview?
