The law pretty much says if you own the original copy, then you can have as many copies of it that you want. You are not allowed to sell those copies however.

So no, it is not illegal to burn CD's, if you own the original. However, I doubt anyone would ever catch you, if you didn't have the original.

You aren't under the impression that links on the internet are the only reliable sources of information, are you? Because, if that is the case, you have a major problem. There will be no official link that will tell you that burning a cd is or is not illegal any more than than there will be one telling you whether drinking water from a tap is illegal. It is content that may or may not be illegal. When you learn how to ask about that part, a serious answer may be possible, and we may even be able to find you a link.

Some people say it is and some people say it is not. I don't think so because if you bought the music (CD or iTunes) it's your and you can share it!
