One of the major reason I think people hate him is because they take the wrestling storyline too far. John Cena has been made into the ultimate goodguy and champion in wrestling. He's beat like everyone and won matches that easily could have went the other way. He loses sometimes, but overall, he's had the championship for quite a while. If he does lose it, by the next PPV, he regains it, so that can be annoying to some people. I just think lots of people are tired of seeing him win and hope by booing him, that he'll get some time on the backburner and we'll also see new people feuding for the belt.
Also, many haters are just haters that make themselves seem jealous of him.
For anyone who would read this and think I'm a die hard fan, I'm not. I respect and like him, but mostly think he's ok. I'm ready to see new faces fighting for the belt!

I can't speak for everyone but Cena isn't as talented as others think he is he is mediocre at best and would be a mid-carder if he wrestled anywhere else WWE is desperate for for decent talent but keep rushing guys that are too young to the front of the company.

because he is boring, he always wins and he always retains his title everytime he defends it lets face it hes a suck up to vince mcmahon hes vince mcmahons pet. no wonder hes the champion all the damn time. its time for a big change. and a new champion.
