Ok so tonight I took the First Response Pregnancy Test. It came back positive. But the second line is darker than the first line. That is ok right?
I also wanted to say thanks to all of those who have been answering some of my questions for the past 2 weeks. If you remember seeing me that is...lol. Well..Thanks!

The second line will be darker - that is what happened when I took the test and was pregnant. My husband actually peed on one to make sure the right thing had happened - ha ha! - and his control line was darker rather than the second line. :o) So...you are pregnant! Congratulations!!!

Any line is a good line when you are trying to get pregnant. When I took my first response test, the test line was so faint you had to hold the test at an angel to see it, but I took another test the next morning, and went to the doctor and sure enough, I'm pregnant, and I am sure you are too. Time to make an appointment and congratulations.

Well...CONGRATS!! The first pregnancy test I took, the second line was soooo faint that I didn't think I was really pregnant so my husband and I bought like 5 different pregnancy test to make sure. The very faintness of line means your pregnant! YAY!

Yes it is normal for one line to be darker than the other. It just depends on the level of HCG in your urine as to how dark the POS/NEG line will be. Good luck and congrats

The same thing happened to me. One line dark the other line very light! You are preggers! Congrats and Good Luck!

Completely normal - i used first response and thats what happened here too! A line is a line!

All it means is that you are not producing alot of the pregnancy hormone yet.
Congratulations! That is such exciting news! I remember the day I took all four of my pregnancy tests ;)

that's perfectly fine. it just depends on the hcg hormone that's in your body right now. my second line was lighter than the first on all my pregnancy tests.

Yea it's fine for one to be darker than the other, that's the way they usually turn out.
