Best way to defeat scamps in Oblivion Xbox?

In Elder Scrolls, what weapon is best for defeating the scamps? we are in our first oblivion, the towers around the blood feast? These scamps keep kicking our butts over and over, just try beating with sword but two and my health drains and I'm done.

First off, It is best to know what level u are at in order to know how well u are. So I'll list the equipment and at what levels u can get them.

Level 1 = Fur / Iron
Level 3 = Leather / Steel
Level 6 = Chain / Dwarven
Level 10 = Mythril / Orcish
Level 15 = Elven / Ebony
Level 20 = Glass / Daedric

Also, I don't know if you are talking about scamps or clannfear. They both are very similar and I'll tell u their strengths and weaknesses.

Scamps are normally weak. They can resist fire and can reflect spells. They also have a weakness to shock. So your best bet is to go in swinging.

Clannfears are the complete opposite of scamps. Clannfears are very strong and can also resist fire, but they can reflect damage. They also have a weakness to shock. You have 2 choices when fighting clannfear. You can run in and start swinging and when health gets low, run and heal. The only downside to this is that the clannfear are very fast. You can also just blast magic at them, preferably a high level shock spell. Or the best bet is to find a weapon with a shock enchantment on it and go in swinging. This will take them out like the normal scamps. Just make sure u carry around a lot of soul gems and repair hammers.
