I've been having an extremely difficult time getting UPS to honor insurance I took out on a package sometime back. I shipped a somewhat expensive pair of speakers (~$350 and paid for insurance accordingly) from a UPS Store a few months back and the speakers were throughly damaged by UPS due to poor handling - I have been chasing after the UPS Store and UPS (their generic complaint line) for months now and keep getting the run around. Does anyone know of a communication channel that would allow me to connect with someone higher up to get this matter resolved ASAP? Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated!

If you paid for the shipment with a credit card proceed with a chargeback for the amount, enter a dispute claim of the charges with your credit card company. This works pretty quickly because the cc company will fight tooth and nail for their money.

Did you package it well? If not, then they have you.

Have you started a claim? Did they inspect the goods?

go to united parcel service or UPS.COM there is a home page there of many heading you can go to you can also email them and give your tracking number. That should work if not in the email let them know you are going to write to the United Parcel Service Grievance Board make a report they would not like that at all and you would get a response.
