Commerce Bank has what they call a "Penny Arcade" in the lobby. It works like a coinstar machine. If you live near one of their branches, it could be a good bet.

An interesting idea is to carry a few around with you. When you buy something use the pennies so your change from the sale is in nickels or higher.

You could also roll them up and buy gift certificates to your favorite stores.

My bank doesn't require them to be rolled, and they cash them in for free.
Just go to the bank and ask. If you don't like their deal, leave.

Coinstar sucks. It takes 8 cents of every dollar.

easy bag them up and change them at a bank its extremly easy and they take like 5 cents out of every 5 bucks so like a cent a buck.

Generally banks charge unless it is a child's account for this.
