U DO GAIN WEIGHT BUT IF U DECIDE TO GET IT REMOVE YOU WILL LOSE IT

No. It is not a hormone-related device, therefore causing no water weight gain or additional appetite.

If you're gaining weight, you could be depressed or have an underactive thyroid. See your doctor, because the IUD will not make you gain.

Mirena DOES have hormones in it, so I am guessing it is possible depending on your body.
