How oblivious they seem to be to what goes on around them. How do people with tunnel vision ever get by in life?

How people seem to think it's actually okay to just care about themselves.
Almost everyone believes that it's a "dog-eat-dog" world and are constantly working towards the success of themselves but they like to call it "survival".
If that were so, if this egoism, was so great and wonderful, then the world wouldn't be in the position that it is in today.
But the world has gone to hell and yet people don't want to do anything about it because everyone's for themselves.
Forget the old Musketeer adage "all for one, one for all"... it's more like "me, me, me".
I'm sorry, but people need to wake up.
If the world was meant to be run by one's ego and "survival" tactics, we'd have a private universe all for ourselves.
Unfortunately, we don't.
We're all present...
And we must act on behalf of each other, not against.

How out of touch with current events people can be. I just don't get those people who have no clue what is going on in the world around them. I admit that I'm no expert and there is a lot I don't know. But some people are clueless. I see it as being very self centered.

The fact that they bounce back from some pretty devastating situations. The hurricanes are just a small indication of what people can do if they have to.

Some peoples priority's!
Especially the ones that owe me money for repairing there cars.
They don't have enough money to buy the necessities of life-food,heating bills,etc.but still go out partying,buying snowmobiles,eating at fancy restaurants,etc. and wont pay me.
