sandisk sansa c200 mp3 player installation cd?

I received a mp3 player as a Christmas gift and the written directions are quite vague. I can't get the installation cd to play . Anyone know why or have any suggestions?

I just bought the same MP3 player and didn't even bother with the software. When you plug in the MP3 player into your usb port it will show up in My Computer just drag and drop your mp3's into it.
