mitsubishi eclipse running rough?

i have a 99 eclipse gs that is running a little rough when i first start it after its been sitting for a while. it sounds like its about to cut off and then after it warms up it runs fine.

Could be a number of things, EGR valve, tune up, filters, etc. Was maintainence done routinely?

have ur egr valve checked
