My first realization of this came from one of my male students years after he graduated out of high school.
I personally don't believe we should teach the myth of Santa Clause. He is a type of false god-a god of materialism. He is a definite distraction from the real meaning of Christmas. I just can't for the life of me see any good come out of teaching myths to our children and present them as truths.

Santa means 'saint' in either Spanish or Latin. It's not satanic.

i was Satan Claus for Halloween a few years ago. i got so many negative comments about my choice, i did it again the next year!

old story about that....kind of freaky..............
They say that santa used to be one of Satan's demons. He went around on christmas to mock Jesus and put all kinds of sick presants under the tree. Dead rat's, skulls etc, well parents were afraid of their kids eing traumatized and all and twisted it around to make Santa sound like a saint! Every year the take all the presants the evil santa left and switch them with nice toys and things..............
Nah, JK, I just made that up!
