peircing at home is very dangerous and there is a more likely chance to get a bad infection...my advice is to go to the mall and get it done by a professional, at Pagoda they do peircing for free as long at u buy the earrings, or in your case nose rings

First of all, I wouldn't recommend piercing your own anything, but if you really want to, make sure you wash your hands and clean the piercing location and jewelry with alcohol. If you want to mark your nose to make sure you are piercing it in the place then you want use a (purple) iodine pen. I would recommend trying to find a thinner section on the side of your nose and using a pre-sharpened & sterilized ear piercing stud rather than trying to put a needle in your nose. Remember the angle that you pierce at is very important! After you remove the piercing stud, you should probably put a screw stud in while it is healing (it is going to be tender & your eyes may water). Keep it clean!! Turn it twice a day (with clean hands!!) and clean it with antibacterial soap or an (ear piercing) antiseptic.

well as other have said, you shouldnt do it yourself.......
BUT THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE TELLING YOU TO GO THE MALL AND GET IT DONE ARE CRAZY!!!!!!!
NEVER GET YOUR NOSE PIERCED WITH A GUN.
EARLOBES SHOULDN'T EVEN BE PIERCED WITH A GUN.
YOU SHOULD GO TO A TATTOO/PIERCING PARLOR AND GET IT DONE BY A PROFFESSIONAL.
THOSE BITCHES AT CLAIRES ARENT PROFESSIONAL,
THEY ARE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WORKING A 9-5 TRYNA GET PAID.
NOTHING SHOULD EVER BE PIERCED WITH A GUN, NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU!
a professional will probably charge you $50, but at least you will have a lower risk of infection, and a piercer with experience.
please save your pretty little nose for someone who knows what they are doing!
good luck!!

You dont pierce your own nose. Its a bad idea and if u go through with it you could be hospitalized. You should just pay the price and have a pro do it..

Get barbecue sauce and rub it vigorously up the walls of your nose. Inhale deeply. Fart thrice. Rub off the barbcue sauce. Apologize to your folks for farting. Then pierce your nose.

If i were you i would not pierce your own nose! You should defitnetly get a porfessional to do it! Your nose could become infected. But if you want to take a chance then go right ahead.

Very dangerous, but if you want to....rub a fine needle with rubbing alcohol with a swab, and put it over a flame, so it's hot, and poke it through your outer nose, and have a cotton ball on the inside of your nose.

ouch wow how can you stand to do that yourself
you'd need a needle, ice and a piece of an apple
well I guess a small piece so you could fit it in your nose
and i'd take aspirin before
and then ice your nose, stick the apple in your nose and poke the needle through your nose.
its so much easier to get it at a store because they use a gun..so it doesn't hurt as much and its wayyy safer

As a nurse I would have to say NOOOOO WAY, don't do it--Can you say infection? Seriously, save up and find someone reputable, it will hopefully save you from a course of strong antibiotics
