Its an old dell monitor......... its just around the sides. no biggy.

an eraser is too hard because there is a lot of pencil

nail polish remover melts the plastic ive tried before.

Depends on what type of monitor it is! Dont take ANY advice until you know this detail!

If the pen mark is not on the display screen itself, then anything that cleans plastic is fine. Try an eraser first. Try a damp cloth first, then add a little bit of mild soap if you need to. Make sure not to get any water onto the display screen. If that doesn't work, try a little nail polish remover.

3M Electronics Cleaner from Office Depot and a good scrubbing.

get a damp cloth, not dripping wet and scrub Hard!.
