Lived in the area for 18 years. You can take the Minnesotan out of Minnesota but you can't take the Minnesota out of the Minnesotan.

Ya! Minnesota rules!! I've lived here my whole life i couldn't see living anywhere else. I have done a lot of traveling with my parents over the years, and i have been to many big cities in the U.S.

I wouldn't say that the Twin Cities are my favorite big city ever but they are a great place to live. Everything is just so close, i wouldn't need to go more than a couple miles from my house to get anything!!! there are 2 yes TWO shopping malls within 5 miles of me right now!!! The rent ISN'T outrageous in either downtown's from what i hear, unless you get a penthouse in one of the new buildings they just put up by I94.

There aren't many bad things i cant think of... well there will always be the weather!!! but this winter had been very mild and nice... ALMOST NO SNOW!!! the traffic can also be a B****, but where cant it be in the rush hours???

If your thinking about moving here i would suggest finding an apartment or house just outside the cities in one of the beautiful suburbs. you can still take public transit into and around the cities!!!

I live north of the Twin Cities by Mora. I love to get to the cities. I also love Cossetta's. But I also like downtown Mpls, the lakes area and uptown. I like Dino's Gyro's and the shopping by Rosedale mall.
I like living in Minnesota for the most part. I love fall but I can't stand the cold and winter months.

Minneapolis/St. Paul Its the place I stay because of the fact the fee of residing is decrease, The assume-ions of colleges, companies and communities are larger and that they are lot of perfect Outdoorsy places to bypass, Theirs a reason they call Minnesota 10,000 Lakes because of the fact theirs extra loads of Fishing and searching Up North here. twin cities regulations

Kind of a suburb of both. I live south of both cities. My husband works in St. Paul. Both have their pluses & minuses. I like the area though. We are not originally from here, yet we have chosen to plant roots here and raise our family.

Best place in the world. Especially downtown, always go have some pizza at Cossetta's.
