Combat skills dont matter in making money at all. I advise that you get your woodcutting to 60 and cut yews which sell 300 gp until level 75 woodcutting so you can chop magic logs which sell for 1k each. If your a non member you can still cut yews but not mages. Another way to get money is to fish lobsters and sell for 200 each or or sharks for 1k each.

I made 41mil in 2 weeks merchanting tree seeds. When they first came out, they were easily merchantable. Now, they're a bit harder but still give great profit! Good luck!

mining and smithing are repetitive but pay off when you get the skills up, I havent played for a while but I can smith that blue stuff and nearly onto green, whatever it was called
