You can use Melatonin at night to supplement your own body's natural production of melatonin. Take 1 tab 1 hour before bedtime. Or another really good one is Calms Forte by Hyland Brands. Calms Forte are all natural, homeopathic. It can be used during the day for nervous tension and at night as a sleep aid. I have used these for years. Also, both the Melatonin and Calms Forte are very inexpense and can be purchaes at Wal-mart, Rite Aid, or any vitamin store.

The best product I have found is Bee Royal Jelly part of the reason we have trouble sleeping is due to the fast paced life we lead and stress, royal jelly contains the highest available amounts of B-5 that work on the nerve endings and will naturally alleviate stress levels within 10 days you will have a natural sleep pattern again, I speak from experience this too was my problem and my mother turned me onto Royal Jelly from http://www.beeroyalproducts.com they deliver with 2 days the cost shocked me at first 90 bucks but IT LASTS 5 MONTHS it was truly cheaper than anything else and it works, you won't regret it . It was a miracle for me

Valerian root, melatonin, kava kava, and skull cap are all said to be good sleep aids. I've only taken melatonin and valerian root, and they both work very well with no hangover like feelings the next morning that you often get with Benedryl and other drugs.

Make some Chamomile tea, don't add sugar, it will just keep you up. You can drink it hot or cold. It will take about 30 minutes, this works for my son who has ADHD (he is 16 years old). Walmart sells it, It's cheap $2.00 for a box of 24 tea bags. IT IS SAFER THAN TAKING MEDICATION! And no feeling tired in the morning. It will make you sleepy and not over tired.
Good Luck and Sweet Dreams!

I've tried them all. I have lots of trouble sleeping. Only one works for me, which is Benadryl. Maybe Tylenol pm, and types of tea, and sex work for some but if it's a serious condition you've seen the doctor for...use the benadryl.

What works well is "Benadryl" that's diphenydramine generic, and cheaper than the brand name, its a antihistamine that makes you drowsy.Read the labels on those other ones, they cost allot, but have the same active ingredients =diphenhydramine. SW RNP
