My question says if f(x)=2x/3x+1, write the equation for f ^-1(x) and state the domain of f^-1(x)
I dont know what to do

Here's how it goes:
Write:
y = 2x/(3x+1).
Then
Interchange x and y
x = 2y/(3y+1).
Finally, solve this for y in terms of x:
3xy + x = 2y
y(3x-2) = -x
y = -x/(3x-2).
This is your inverse function. Its domain
is all real x except x = 2/3 (a value which makes
the denominator 0).
