Men are avoiding marriage these days due to the enormous risk of divorce and the subsequent income garnishment:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_strike

and

http://dontgetmarried.proboards75.com/

So many western women, who were intending to work until 30, then marry and live off their husbands, have been forced to continue work. Which is good, but problem is they still have these outdated affirmative action quotas.

Thank god women cannot force us to marry them, but it looks like women who are over 30 and looking for a free ride are turning to sueing their employers for sexual harassment, or just plain refusing to do much work around the place.

Not a problem if affirmative action had been phased out like it was supposed to have been, but basically employers are still FORCED to take on these lazy and litigious 30+ women who feel owed a free ride.

Is this just glossed over forced marriage for employers?

AV Student: I need a woman do I? Why? I didn't do anything wrong!

Alissaho:

#1 : The fact that the divorce rate is 50% of the marriage rate and that 75% of divorces are initiated by the woman.

#2 : Apart from my being a wage slave for some fattie on a couch who intends to divorce me anyway?

#3 : Outdated discrimination against men which requires women to be hired and stay hired so they can get paid for doing nothing.

#4 : Sueing in divorce, sueing in sexual harassment seem awfully similar.

Please don't brag. What a coincidence that every feminist in the world is married for
years, has a million dollar career and has men hitting on them all day long.

"western women intend to marry and live off their husbands after 30"

The 50% divorce rate with 75% initiated by women attests to it.

There is plenty of evidence to suggest women pursue men based on money, for example:

http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13540397,00.html

"women... are turning to suing their employers for sexual harrassment"

Sexual harassment legislation counts just fine, but if you want a source stating it is getting out of hand, here you go:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-2394059,00.html

And you are making false statements about affirmative action. It is based on quotas, the most common being "50% of staff must be women". Thereby allowing women to become
token employees who sit around and chat all day. Hire another one and she'll do the same. Must meet the quota by law. Check your local legislation.

Now look up Judas Goat, there buddy.

In my opinion, any man who gets married is a fool.

It really is not meant to be this way, yet; somehow, in the excitement of it all people just got carried away. You know how it goes women got the right to vote and the next thing you know she wants to run the whole country and after that the world.
You are very right no one can force you to marry them.
You are misunderstanding a lot in the translation here; no one says that you have to work like a slave. I once knew of a man who worked for six months out of the year, bought only what he needed and banked the rest, it depends upon how you want to work it. Never look to other people how your future will turn out.
On the other hand there are women who work hard and they deserve their pay checks you need to be fair and your opinion will still be respected.
Reconsider the fact that those employers do not have to take those women into their work force. Just like you don't have to marry them. Sounds like someone is getting away with murder and I hope one day soon they get caught.

You use two BIASED sources to "support" your stance. Everyone knows that anyone can go to Wikipedia and attempt to pass off as "fact" any crazy propaganda they want. That's why your post has been tagged with "weasel words", showing that there is no real backing to that entry, it's just opinion, and doesn't belong in any REAL encyclopedia. As for your other "source," it's just misogynistic propaganda at it's worst. And to answer your "question" (which is not really a question but crazy propaganda) ...no.
And the number is closer to 66% (divorces initiated by women.) Also, statistically, men are more likely to have affairs, and abuse drugs and alcohol (see marriage.rutgers.edu). Women today have an education, and many have careers, so they don't have to put up with it any more. But, according to you, we don't "do" anything at work, we just take up space, and we don't do anything at home, except sit on the couch eating bon-bons and watching our shows. Boy, that IS a problem! Men are doing all the work AT work, then they are coming home, raising the children and doing the laundry, cooking dinner, cleaning, etc. What can men do? I know! Let's send 'em all back to where they came from! Yeah! Lazy, good for nothing women don't belong in America! We'll put 'em on the ship with all the other...wait, that won't work...they're not really "from" anywhere in particular, are they? OOH! I know! Men can just not get married! Yeah, that'll show 'em! We'll commit genetic suicide and die lonely and bitter! Boy, that's really got 'em where it hurts now, huh! Oooh, I bet they're mad!...Actually, I'm sure no one will shed a tear that you are refusing to marry, and thank you for making the conscientious decision to not add your genes to the gene pool. The world thanks you.

#1 - Who screwed up your head in regards to what marraige is about?

#2 - What is your problem with supporting your wife and/or child?

#3 - Do you have any idea what affirmative action is? Affirmative Action - A policy or a program that seeks to redress past discrimination through active measures to ensure equal opportunity, as in education and employment.

#4 - I suspect the reason you don't have a clue what it means to be sexually harrassed is because you yourself are one of those people who cause the problem in the first place.

Furthermore I myself am a 30+ women who is happily married for over 7 years & have worked since I was 16, and will continue to work to help support my family even though my husband does a great job of supporting us.

Be careful when you choose to lump women into an opinionated group, unless your willing to turn that mirror towards yourself and be willing to be called a male chauvenist, women bashing, pig!

50% divorce rate... 75% of divorces initiated by women... maybe so, but your question is about 90% baloney.
western women "intend to marry and live off their husbands" after 30? Quote your source.
"women... are turning to suing their employers for sexual harrassment"?? Overgeneralize much? Quote your source.
"employers are still FORCED to take on these... women"? No, affirmative action cannot FORCE anyone to hire anyone. It only "forces" people to commit to fair hiring practices (i.e., if a woman interviewee is obviously more qualified than her male counterpart, you cannot hire the male SIMPLY because "chicks can't do this job.") Affirmative action is actually very difficult to enforce, unless you're a massive company and the male to female ratio is waaaay unbalanced.

Look, I'm sorry your wife left you for a guy half your age and twice your size, but don't take it out on the rest of us, because it all gets a little tedious after a while. Take care : )

you may't evaluate a guy to a lady. each is diverse. yet a guy, and a lady, supplement one yet another. In different words, one guy and one female (mutually) is one unit. they're a complementary pair.
