2x^2 + y2 = 8
x^2/4+y^2/8 = 1
This is the equation of an ellipse with a= 2 and b= 2sqrt(2)
c = sqrt(b^2-a^2) =sqrt(4)=+/- 2
So the foci are (0,2) and (0,-2)
