It depends on what you ate the rest of the day, how active you were, what your starting weight was, etc. Rule of thumb is 15 calories per pound per day. So, if you weight 120 pounds, you can take in around 1800 calories per day and maintain weight.

No. Not from a half eaten salad without dressing. You gain weight when the calories taken in, are much greater than the calories you burn. Exercise regularly. It can be as simple as going for a walk before a meal or after if you like. Drink plenty of water.

I think it depends how you deal with your stress. Some people stress and do not eat due to the stomach pains caused by stress, while others use food to comfort their stress and this causes weight gain. Stress is unhealthy either way, so try doing activities to help relax your mind and stop you from over stressing!

One salad wont make you fat. Don't starve yourself or keep yourself from eating what you want, you only live once. If you eat something you think might cause weight gain, then go for a run after or something. Everything in moderation.

You do obsess, don't you? To put that in perspective, you ate 250 or 300 calories, and there are about 150 in a can of soda.

That all depends on how much physical exercise you do but I don't think so. It also depends on whether you've been eating a lot of other things.

stuff like that is never healthy, but you shouldn't gain weight from that because you do burn off calories. [that is why we eat] if you do this often, you may because when you go out to eat, the ingredients they use aren't as healthy.

how much weight you gain depends on how many calories you take in and how many you burn off. But in this case, probably not, even if you dont exercise it off.
