If we brought back more dead? What I mean is if we took out (killed) more of those Jihadist basterds. This is a serious question. I expect serious answers.

No. I'd be more pleased if Iraquis would stop killing each other and work to get their country back in shape and free of Insurgents. Violence only begets more violence.

It is a serious question, and gets to the root of American (and global) dissatisfaction with the Iraq war.
Our young men and women are dying, but there's no cause... we'd be better off if we'd stayed in Afghanistan and wiped out the Taliban instead of moving our troops out into Iraq.
Now the Taliban are winning in Afghanistan, simply because the UN forces aren't adequate... and we're losing in Iraq for the same reason.
And Iraq wasn't a significant source of terrorists - we'd have been better off invading Saudi Arabia, the financiers of al-queda...
To many stupid decisions made because the neo-dons favor money and their friends over Patriotic Americans who want to end the terrorist threat.

Seriously, the number of enemy killed is only a secondary consideration in a counterinsurgency. I bet you get a bunch of posts saying "we need to take the gloves off", but think about it: 130,000 troops cannot create enough fear in 22 million people to stop an insurgency unless we do tactics like concentration camps and mass executions of both insurgents and those who support them. Sure, these tactics might work, (probably not) And a country that's willing to do that, I'm not so sure that's a country that deserves to exist.

Now that Saddams dead,the next one to hang should be that Al-Sader idiot.I don't know why when these mobs gather in the streets under mask and firing guns into the air,they are not targeted and taken out with a hellfire missile.If that is all these idiots understand then so be it.

More pleased, yes, but not by much. At least we'd be making some progress and not having our soliders treated as target practice by them.

No. Most of the people we are fighting there are insurgents, trying to get us out of their country. Most of the people we kill are those or innocent civilians.
