Yes, my mom always makes me take sleeping pills at times when I stay up really late, or when I'm really hyper at night.

I saw an episode of Montel Williams where a babysitter gave a baby Benedryl to help it sleep. The baby died. Never.. never.. never use it except as directed.

No thats not something many parents would do, mine didn't and i never have with my kids but i know someone who gave their kids travel sickness tablets to make them sleep on a journey even though they didn't get travel sick.

No, my parent couldn't afford that. They would beat me into a sound sleep. They would say it was because I was so sarcastic as a child. I never learn.

No- but I have heard some parents say that they give it to their children to make them go to sleep. I think that is horrible- hope it is not addictive for the children or the parents

If your parents are forcing you to take pills that you don't want to take and a doctor didn't tell you to take then sue em.

No.. Benadryl is for suppressed temporary immune function, why on Earth would they do that on you?! You poor thing.
If I were you, next time they try to pull a fast one, roll it under your tongue then spit it out- you can do serious liver damage.
