Course you can. I took mine on holiday a few months back. My iPod was fine after going through the security machine

Hundreds of laptops go thru the checkpoints every day, and ipods are growing fast to that same point...Your ipod isn't the first they've seen.

Magnetic waves are the enemy (like setting it next to a large speaker or a heavy electric motor), but xrays are not damaging.

Yes - my dad travels all of the time for his job and takes my old mini all of the time. It has been through probably 80 airport scanners and is perfectly fine!

i'm sure you can never had any problems before with mp3 players check out the manual that came with your ipod to be sure.
